انطلقت فكرة توجذر للاتصالات عام 2009 كمبادرة محلية هدفها تحسين واقع الاتصالات في القرى الريفية غرب رام الله، وهي مناطق نائية ومهمشة كانت تفتقر إلى أبسط مقومات البنية التحتية في مجالات الاتصال والإنترنت. وبعد أربع سنوات من العمل والتخطيط والتطوير، تم تأسيس الشركة رسميًا عام 2013 لتكون نواة حقيقية لتقديم خدمات اتصال موثوقة وعالية الجودة، تستهدف سد الفجوة التقنية بين المناطق الريفية والمراكز الحضرية.
