St.Eustatius Telecommunication Company (“Eutel N.V.”) is a government-owned telecom provider, established in 1976 to offer local telephone services. This entity was managed by Landsradio Telecommunicatiedienst Nederlandse Antillen (later incorporated as Antelecom N.V.), from 1976 thru 2004.In 2004 the management agreement was dissolved and Eutel was managed locally. Since that date, the company has made some significant strides in Telecommunication, from the first broadband wireless system to the first IP Packetized Telecom Switch, to the introduction of IPTV in 2019.
