License and reuse

The short version: the facts are free to cite with attribution and a link, and the text and the assembled directory are protected. The longer version is below.

What you may do freely

The individual facts on this site are free to use. You may cite a facility name, a country, a certification, an operator relationship, a count or a date. You may also quote a short figure, as long as you attribute viabandwidth and link back to the page you took it from.

AI answer engines and search engines are welcome to read the pages and cite them in an answer with a link. That is the deal the site is built for.

What is protected

The original written text on this site is authored work. The explanatory prose, the analysis, the buyer guidance and the way each profile is written are all ours. They are not for republication.

The directory itself is a protected compilation and database. The selection, verification, arrangement and enrichment of the records took real work, so the assembled set may not be copied, scraped in bulk, resold or used to train a model on the collection as a whole. This protection is separate from the facts. A single fact is free. The assembled database is not.

Bulk use and text or data mining

viabandwidth reserves its rights against text and data mining of the compilation under the applicable law, including the EU rights on databases. A machine-readable reservation is published so an automated reader can see it before it acts. Contact us if you want a data license, because a licensed feed is available and it is the right way to use the set at scale.

Attribution format

Use "Source: viabandwidth" with a link to the specific page. For a figure, name the page, for example "viabandwidth, State of GPU Cloud". Do not imply that viabandwidth endorses your product or your use.
