How verification works

Recognition is earned, not bought

A provider cannot pay to be recognized or to move its position. Inclusion and order are set only by the objective signals below. A recognized provider can claim its listing and display the verified badge, but that changes nothing about who qualifies.

The single objective criterion

A provider is recognized when it runs its own network, confirmed from public routing evidence: it holds its own network identifier and it announces its own address space. That is a fact about the network, not a self-declared claim, so it can be checked independently.

Inclusion, not a subjective ranking

Every provider that meets the criterion in a category is recognized. Where a page shows an order, it reflects one disclosed measure of verified network scale, so the order is a fact and not an opinion. We do not publish contentious head-to-head rankings.

Re-verified, not stale

The signals are re-derived on a rolling schedule before recognition is shown, so a badge is current when it is issued. Each page carries the date it was verified as of.

Certifications are verified as claimed

Certification categories recognize providers that list the relevant certification. A certification narrows a shortlist, and buyers should still confirm the certified entity, scope and audit period with the provider directly.
